ACRE Distinguished Speaker: Nan Doyal, Author of Dig Where You Are

Join ACRE and the Poverty Studies Working Group for a public talk by author Nan Alexander Doyal on stories from around the world highlighting how one person’s effort can save a life, empower a community, and create meaningful change in the world. Participants are also invited to join in an optional follow-up workshop from 2:30-3:30 to learn more about change makers in Conway. (Registration not required)

Public Forum: Perspectives on Homelessness

Residents of Faulkner County are invited to participate in a facilitated conversation about homelessness. Participants will have the opportunity to join a small group discussion and share their ideas and perspectives on homelessness in order to support local efforts to alleviate the problem of homelessness and support individuals and families in need of housing.
