Political Science Program

The Department of Political Science offers two political science degree programs – Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science – for students interested in pursuing careers in government, law, and politics.  The BA in Political Science is a liberal arts degree for students who seek to develop the broad knowledge, critical thinking, research, and communications skills appropriate for a complex and rapidly changing world.  The BS in Political Science is a social science degree for students who seek to gather and analyze information, explain political phenomena, and address political problems.  Students may also choose to pursue a Minor in Political Science.
