Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs)

Alpha Delta Theta Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha – the National Political Science Honor SocietyPi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, is the only honor society for college and university students of government in the United States. At present, there are some 620 Pi Sigma Alpha chapters on campuses across the country. Pi Sigma Alpha is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. International Studies Club – The International Studies Club is a recognized student organization for all UCA students who are interested in learning more about international affairs, including global cultures, global economy, and global politics.  The International Studies Club sponsors a scholarly series each Fall Semester and a culture event on campus each Spring Semester.  For more information about the International Studies Club, please contact Dr. Gizachew Tiruneh, faculty advisor, at gtiruneh@uca.edu.

UCA Model United Nations (MUN) Organizationstudents interested in Model United Nations (MUN), interested in serving on the staff of the Arkansas Model United Nations (AMUN) conference held each November at UCA, or interested in participating as a delegate to the Midwest Model United Nations (MMUN) conference held each year in February in St. Louis, Missouri are encouraged to join this active UCA student organization. UCA Pre-Law Societythe UCA Pre-Law Society is a student club that helps address the needs of undergraduate students interested in going to law school. Any student at UCA who is interested in attending law school may join the UCA Pre-Law Society. The Society organizes speakers to give presentations on campus about different aspects of the law and legal careers. It also brings in speakers who can provide guidance for successfully being admitted to and finishing law school.
