13th Annual Arkansas Collegiate Model United Nations (ACMUN) Conference

The 13th annual Arkansas Collegiate Model United Nations (ACMUN) conference was held on the campus of Arkansas State University (ASU) in Jonesboro, AR on Friday, November 3, 2023.  The ACMUN Conference was sponsored by the Department of Political Science at ASU.

Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
1.  Sustaining World Heritage Sites and other historical sites under threat from climate change and
2.  Equitable access for HIV and AIDS medications in the global south and the global north

Human Rights Council (HRC)
1.  Confronting hate speech and the propagation of terrorism on social media while protecting civil
2.  Protection of human rights of civilians during war time

Council of the League of Arab States (LAS)
1.  Preventing and responding to cyber-attacks and cyber threats in the Middle East
2.  Establishing a regional collective security system in the Middle East
