Dr. Lynne Hollaway is an occupational therapy (OT) practitioner, who graduated in 2003 with a Master of Science degree from the University of Central Arkansas. In 2024, she completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Health Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University.  Her research focuses on understanding and enhancing caregiver engagement strategies during intervention sessions for children with autism.
Dr. Hollaway earned her certification in Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) in 2008, equipping her to train families of children with autism and social-emotional vulnerabilities.  She is also a member of the OT Leaders and Legacy Society, reflecting her dedication to leadership and professional excellence within the field of occupational therapy.
Dr. Hollaway is deeply committed to community-based programming for children and families. She is the co-founder and current regional director for Acting Creates Therapeutic Success jr. (ACTS jr), a performing arts program for children of all abilities in Conway, Arkansas. She also serves as the faculty advisor for Go Baby Go, an evidence-based, interprofessional education program at UCA.  In this role, she collaborates with students from physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and occupational therapy to design and build adaptive ride-on cars for children with mobility impairments.
Additionally, Dr. Hollaway practices OT at a Developmental, Individual-differences, & Relationship-based model (DIR)/Floortime center, where she works directly with children and families to foster developmental progress through relationship-focused interventions.

Clinical Experience
  • 2003-current:  Pediatric outpatient clinician including three years of contract school-based practice and seven years of in-home therapy.
  • 2010-2018:  Director of a developmental preschool

Dr. Hollaway is passionate about equipping clinicians, families, and professionals to advocate for the optimal development of children.  It is her hope to inspire others to create excellent, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
