Advanced Studies in Teacher Leadership
Advanced Studies in Teacher Leadership – MSE
This 30-credit hour program is designed to enhance and expand your existing knowledge, skills and dispositions while further developing core competencies. Graduates are prepared to become change leaders for improvement.
Digital Age Teaching and Learning
Digital Age Teaching and Learning – EdS
This 30-credit hour program helps educators go beyond the master’s degree with a focus on how to create an environment where digital age students have increased voice and choice, as well as ensured accessibility for all.
Educational Leadership
Educational Leadership – EdS
This 30-credit hour degree program is designed to prepare district-level administrators. The program is performance- based and utilizes a variety of 21st century technologies, authentic assessments and personalized internships.
Gifted and Talented
Gifted and Talented – GC
This 15-hour program meets Arkansas Teaching Standards (InTASC) and National Association for Gifted Children-Council for Exceptional Children (NAGC-CEC) Teacher Preparation Standards in Gifted Education. Can be completed in one summer.
Instructional Technology
Instructional Technology – MS
This 30-hour program provides K-12 educators with the knowledge and skills needed to become technology leaders and practitioners. It is 100% online with a combination of video conferencing and asynchronous sessions.
Leadership for Inclusion and Equity
Leadership for Inclusion and Equity – Ph.D
This program equips professionals from nonprofit, public health, government, business, K-12 education and higher education to enhance human and community development. Three concentrations available.
Library Media and Information Technologies
Library Media and Information Technologies – MS
This program is recognized by the American Association of School Librarians and has a 99% PRAXIS II content pass rate in School Library Media. It is one of the largest graduate programs for school librarians in Arkansas.
Master of Arts in Teaching
Master of Arts in Teaching – MAT (K-6, Middle Level, Secondary)
This 36-hour program prepares mid-career professionals and recent graduates of higher education without teaching credentials to become classroom teachers in an expeditious fashion. Can be completed in less than two years.
Master of Arts in Teaching
Master of Arts in Teaching – MAT (Special Education)
This 36-hour program is designed for individuals without teaching credentials but who have successfully completed a baccalaureate degree. Prepares students for the complex, changing role of the special educator.
Reading
Literacy with Dyslexia Endorsement – MSE
This 30-credit hour program equips professionals to meet the educational and social/emotional needs of students with dyslexia and other reading disabilities. Meets requirements for the Arkansas Reading Specialist license.
School Counseling
School Counseling – MS
This program prepares candidates to become K-12 school counselors focused on the career, social/emotional and academic development of students. Fully online with video conferencing and asynchronous sessions.
