The University of Central Arkansas will hold commencement at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, and at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, in the Jeff Farris Health and Physical Education Center.
The university will confer 549 undergraduate degrees and 217 graduate degrees during four ceremonies.
Graduate school commencement for all colleges is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday. Undergraduate commencement for the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday. Commencement for the College of Fine Arts and Communication, College of Liberal Arts, and College of Natural Science and Mathematics is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday. Commencement for the College of Business and the College of Education will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday.
UCA President Houston Davis will address the graduates. Joshua Eddinger-Lucero, the 2018-2019 president of the Student Government Association, will bring greetings from the students. Rahul Mehta, 2018-2019 Faculty Senate president, will address the graduates on behalf of the faculty.
UCA Alumni Association representative Steven Shook will address graduates during Friday’s commencement, and representatives Rebekah Fincher, Jarod Matheney and Aaron Knight will address graduates at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively, during Saturday’s ceremonies.
