UCA sets fourth consecutive enrollment record

The University of Central Arkansas has set another record enrollment this fall of 12,400 students, making UCA the second largest college in Arkansas. Since Lu Hardin assumed the presidency in September 2002, UCA has added nearly 4,000 students, increasing from 8,500 students to 12,400 students. Majors Fair set for Oct. 5

The 9th annual Majors Fair is set for Thursday, Oct. 5, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. Courtway appointed to oversee governmental relations and counsel

Tom Courtway of Conway has been named General Counsel and Director of Governmental Relations at the University of Central Arkansas. Courtway's appointment will be effective August 28 according to UCA President Lu Hardin.Hardin said Courtway had served "very ably" as general counsel previously at UCA. Strong storm damages campus

A strong storm on Monday caused flash flooding and wind damage to the UCA campus. During the storm, a 25-foot section of roof blew off State Hall, a co-ed residence hall for freshmen, and landed on a tree in a nearby parking lot. Former secretary of state donates papers to archives

Former Secretary of State Sharon Priest has donated her papers to the University of Central Arkansas Archives. Priest visited the archives on Tuesday to meet with Director Jimmy Bryant and the rest of the staff.
