Holiday, payroll, insurance changes detailed

The UCA campus will close for a holiday break at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 23 and continue through Thursday, Jan. 1, Assistant Vice President for Human Resources Steve Wood told the UCA Staff Senate on Wednesday. Outdoor art installation explored

Is it a maze? Is it a fort? Is it finished? Everyone has a different interpretation of the outdoor installation in front of Baum Gallery, but that was the point the artists wanted to convey when the sculpture was created. Faculty Senate votes down proposed grading system

There will not be a plus/minus grading system at the University of Central Arkansas. Not in the foreseeable future anyway. Senior Bears honored after final home appearance

UCA, Mayflower partnership a model for the nation in education

A two-day collaboration between UCA and the Mayflower Public School District is a step toward forming an alliance that would ensure no child is left behind. The partnership is a pilot project that resulted from a grant from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.
