Greek Village at the University of Central Arkansas has been awarded an Outstanding Change Initiative Award from the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors Awards and Recognition Committee.
Greek Village was one of two award recipients in this category.
“During the submission process, I began to look through years and years of documents leading up to the groundbreaking of the Greek Village Phase I at UCA, and I was in awe of how many people were involved in this process and how much support the university had and continues to have for our fraternity and sorority community,” said Lucee Lugo, associate director of Student Life. “These spaces have been able to accommodate the needs of our students in a myriad of ways and I look forward to seeing how future students will reap the benefits of those who worked hard to make this dream a reality.”
AFA will celebrate all winners through their social media accounts during Awards and Recognition Week, Oct. 2-6, 2023.
The award will be presented during the AFA Annual Meeting in Tampa, Florida from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1, 2023.
