Bio:
Dr. Hargis teaches courses in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Organizational Development and Change. His research focuses on the context- and person-based factors that influence functional (e.g., innovation, task persistence, goal setting) and dysfunctional (e.g., unethical decision-making) behavior in organizations. His research has been published in journals such as Personnel Psychology, Journal of Managerial Issues, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Organizational Development Journal, and Human Relations. Dr. Hargis serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Organizational Behavior.
