Up Close: Mac Marino ’67

For as long as she can remember, Mac Marino ’67 has found her home in the theater. Growing up in North Little Rock, she caught the acting bug early, first as the “night-
beam” in her elementary school’s production of “Pinocchio”, then as the wicked queen in “Snow White.”

Originally from Little Rock and a graduate of Little Rock Central High School, Smith chose UCA after an injury altered his plans to attend school farther from home.

President’s Society 2025

The annual President’s Society Reception was held Jan. 22 at Cache restaurant in Little Rock. Members of the 2025 President’s Society were invited to the special event to be thanked for their support. Membership is extended to those who contribute at least $1,000 to the University of Central Arkansas during a calendar year.

The University of Central Arkansas’s annual Laurels and Stripes event showcased UCA’s passion for fundraising. More than 300 attendees enjoyed an unforgettable evening honoring outstanding alumni and celebrating the impact of privately funded scholarships.
