The Student Led Therapeutic Activity Program (s-TAP) at UCA is a program that benefits people in the community who have or are at risk for cognitive decline. The program also provides respite for caregivers of people with cognitive decline. S-TAP engages students in the health professions to provide therapeutic activities to participants that stimulate cognition, improve function, and improve quality of life.
We are duplicating the program at UAMS and are seeking participants.
If you know someone with cognitive decline who would benefit from this program, or a caregiver who could use some help please contact
Stephanie Trotter at SETrotter@UAMS.edu or 501-912-5375. See the attached flyer for dates and start times.
