COSE Department of Biology invites you to take photos for the last week of JMNR Photo Contest.
An opportunity to win new prizes for both Student and Faculty/Staff Categories have been added!
Winners will receive a $100 gift card
Second place will receive a $50 gift card
Winning photographs will be displayed in the CNSM Dean’s Office and COSE Facilities, and on UCA social media.
Please send up to 3 photographs per person directly to dussourd@uca.edu, attached to an email by November 1.
Photographs may be taken in any of UCA’s natural areas including in the gardens behind Lewis Science Center, in the LSC atrium, along Stone Dam Creek, at Steel Creek on the Buffalo River, and of course in Jewel Moore Nature Reserve. Any photographic equipment may be used; many winning photographs in the past were taken with cell phones. The goal of the contest is to promote photography at UCA and to recognize our beautiful natural areas on campus. More complete instructions are attached.
