Grade Center – Column Organization
One way to see the full grade center and all of the columns (even the hidden ones!), point values, categories (if using), and due dates is to go into “Column Organization.” This is a great view of the Blackboard Grade Center to help you see, organize, and double-check how your Blackboard Grade Center is set-up. This is especially nice if your course has been copied from semester to semester.
To view all Grade Center Columns in “Column Organization”
- In your Blackboard course, navigate to the Control Panel, and expand the Grade Center section by clicking on the text Grade Center and then Full Grade Center. Or click the right-facing arrow next to the text Grade Center to go directly to the Full Grade Center (image 1).
- When the Grade Center is displayed, click the Manage button and then Column Organization (image 2)
- From this area, you can see the point values, due dates, and categories of each column. In this view, you can rearrange the columns, change the column category (if using), and hide or show columns to students and yourself (image 3).
- After making changes, you must click Submit to save.
