Global Learning Research Group
2024-25
The Global Learning Research Group co-led by Dr. Allison Freed and Dr. Evan Faidley, meets on the second and fourth Thursdays from 3-4 p.m.
The group is a Learning Community under the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Academic Leadership (CETAL). The group aims to connect faculty and staff members interested in studying the influence of global learning (e.g., Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), Global Shared Learning Experiences, Education Abroad, etc.) on the internationalization of academic programs, curricula, and student learning.
2023-24
Dr. Riva Brown and Dr. Allison Freed co-led the renamed Global Learning & Internationalization Reading and Research Group after adding a research component.
2022-23
Dr. Riva Brown and Dr. Leah Horton created the Global Learning & Internationalization Reading Group after participating in a UCA Global Learning Institute in the summer of 2022.
