Closed on Memorial Day
The Bear Essentials Food Pantry will be closed for the observance of Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2024. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 28th at 11 am.
Pantry Summer Hours
The Bear Essential Food Pantry will begin its Summer Hours next Monday, April 29th, with the start of Finals Week.
We will be open Monday through Thursday – 11 am – 4 pm.

Closed on April 8th for the Eclipse
The Bear Essentials Food Pantry will be closed on Monday, April 8th during the Eclipse. We will reopen at 11 am on Tuesday, April 9th.
Closed for Spring Break
The Bear Essentials Food Pantry will be closed during UCA’s Spring Break from March 17 through March 24. The last day to stock up will be on Thursday, March 14 during regular hours of 11 am – 5 pm.

MLK Day of Service Food Collection
Many thanks to the men of Sigma Tau Gamma for their recent food drive as part of the MLK Day of Service! They collected 421 pounds of food for the UCA Bear Essentials Food Pantry.
Spring Semester Hours
Happy 2024! The Bear Essentials Food Pantry will reopen on Monday, January 8th at 11 am.
Finals Schedule
The Bear Essentials Food Pantry will have limited hours during Finals Week, December 11th through 15th. We will be open Monday through Thursday, 11 am until 4:30 pm to allow our student volunteers study time.
Thursday, December 14th will be our last day open. The Pantry will be closed for UCA’s winter break from December 18th through January 5th. We will have handouts of other local food pantries available in the Pantry as well as a list on our website. We will reopen on Monday, January 8, 2024.
