Admission into the Master of Science in Exercise Science Program is rolling, and applications are accepted year-round.
Program Admission Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.70 on a scale of 4.00 OR at least a 3.00 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate study
- Minimum 3.00 GPA on any graduate coursework taken at another accredited institution
- Documented coursework in the following areas:
- Anatomical Kinesiology or Anatomy (3 credit hours, minimum grade of C)
- Exercise Physiology or Human Physiology (3 credit hours, minimum grade of C)
- Biomechanics or Physics (3 credit hours, minimum grade of C)
Program Admission Process
- Submit a completed application to the UCA Graduate School
- Submit official transcripts to the UCA Graduate School
- Send a letter of intent to the Department of Exercise and Sport Science
- The letter should describe what relevant experience the student has obtained, and how this graduate degree will help to advance their career goals.
