Faculty and staff recognition celebration. Please join us for the 72nd annual program (formerly called University Service Awards). Recognition will include faculty awards, staff employee of the year and quarter, years of service, degree and certification completion, LEAD fellows and UCA retirees. April 15, 2025. Student center ballroom. Doors open at 1:00, ceremony begins at 1:40. Experience music, refreshments, photo booth, reconnection with you peers!

The annual Forever A Bear Memorial Service (FAB) will take place on Thursday, April 17 during X Period at the UCA Amphitheater. FAB recognizes members of the campus community who have passed away during the previous year. This year’s service will feature music from a French horn quartet, poetry selections and vocal performances. The service culminates with reading the names of those we are honoring. Everyone is invited to attend the service and to visit the FAB Memorial Garden, which borders Ferguson Chapel. UCA History faculty who have published books during the 24-25 academic year. This event highlights the hard work and intellectual contributions of Dr. Michael Mwenda Kithinji, editor of The Historical Dictionary of Kenya; Dr. Kenneth Barnes, author of Mob Rule in the Ozarks; Dr. Vaughn Scribner, author of Under Alien Skies; and Dr. Buckley T Foster, author of So Great Was the Slaughter. The event will feature free food and is open to all students, faculty, staff, and history fans.The 2025 UCA Graduation Celebration event of the semester is Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 at Buffalo Alumni Hall. All UCA graduating Seniors, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the “Paws Up, Caps Off” party! This special event to honor our graduates will have food, music, fun prizes, a photo booth, and a special toast to the graduates. Come cheer with us and join in the festivities to celebrate the UCA graduating students’ achievements.
