Q: What are your current career plans upon having completed your Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration?
A: “My current career plans after completing my degree are to work in Student Life! I love helping plan events, supporting students, and continuing to learn about how involvement helps the student experience.”

Q: What is your favorite class in the CSPA program, and why?
A: “Currently, my favorite class in the program is Student Development Theory! I enjoy learning about the different ways that context and environment can affect students and their experience. Coming from a psychology background, I enjoy talking about behaviors and how both external and internal factors can play a role in those behaviors!”

Q: Share one experience in the CSPA program that you have enjoyed.
A:
“One experience that I have enjoyed in the program is becoming closer with my cohort! I love that we support each other, joke around, and continue to learn more about one another! Being able to openly discuss and communicate with one another has really provided a rich learning experience.”

Q: Describe the UCA learning and community experience.
A: “Ever since my freshman year of my undergrad in 2018, I have loved UCA! I love how strong the community is for students and faculty and staff members. Everyone is so willing to help when needed! My professors always have supported me, and I find the same from my peers. It is my 5th year being a UCA Bear, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!”

Q: How do you help others in their higher education journey?
A:
“Currently, I help students by being a safe space and lending an ear when they need it. I continue to support where I can and help students find different resources that may be more specific to their needs.”

Q: What have you learned about yourself through your time at UCA and the CSPA program?
A:
“The CSPA program, in particular, has helped me gain more self-confidence. I have learned that I am capable and that I can do hard things!”
