Juniors and Seniors who are in the UCA STEMteach program are eligible for one of 6 Robert Noyce Scholarships that will be awarded each year.
What is included?
- Scholarship covering:
- Tuition and Fees for up to 15 credit hours
- Funds for Room and Board equivalent to a room in Bear Hall and a Total Access Meal Plan
- Support extending beyond the degree to the classroom from a nationwide community of Noyce Scholars.
Who is eligible?
- Full-time students participating in the UCA STEMteach program,
- Completed the introductory Step 1 (STEM 1100) and Step 2 (STEM 1101) courses and be enrolled in or have completed Knowing and Learning (STEM 1301), and
- Be entering your junior or senior year of academic preparation (with preference given to rising juniors),
- Be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens,
- Be pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline,
- Have a minimum overall UCA GPA of 2.7 and a content major GPA of at least 3.0 and
- Submit a completed (on-line) scholarship application packet.
