Looking Back, Moving Forward:
FYS Faculty May Workshop
In this one-day, interactive session, First Year Seminar faculty will reflect on FYS goals and pedagogy, explore how foundational college skills are being embedded and scaffolded across courses, and identify opportunities to strengthen both peer-to-peer and faculty-student relationships. Faculty will also examine what has worked well for students and look ahead to making FYS more meaningful and memorable through experiential and community-based learning.
