Teaching with AI Mini-Conference (NEW!)

CETAL invites you to explore the disruption of generative AI in higher education and why we cannot afford to ignore it. Join us for a two-day mini-conference from 9:00 to 3:00 on Tuesday, August 13, and Wednesday, August 14, in Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center. Learn with dozens of your faculty colleagues as we:

  • Gain an overview of generative AI and large language models (LLMs) in higher education
  • Learn effective strategies for prompting AI tools and their applications in teaching
  • Develop an AI syllabus policy and discuss ethical considerations for our courses
  • Explore innovative ways to integrate AI into course design and assignments
  • Practice creating AI-enhanced materials and assessments for our disciplines
  • Collaborate with peers to share insights and create action plans for AI implementation

A catered lunch will be provided each day. You don’t want to miss this transformative experience and hear a preview of other AI-related initiatives offered this fall. Register now!

P.S. The bulleted list above was generated through a series of prompts using Claude AI. The future is now! Register online.
