Arkansas Tornado Recovery 2023

Please stay tuned for more information about how to request support from volunteers and how to sign up to volunteer as part of a UCA tornado recovery volunteer group.

The list below includes donation centers and their needs. If you wish to donate to tornado relief and recovery efforts, please contact the donation center first to confirm that donations are still needed. If you have information to add or change to this list, please contact volunteer@uca.edu.

Sherwood:

  • Sherwood City Hall (behind by the pool) (2199 E Kiehl Ave.)– cleanup supplies, tarps, and lumber.
  • Sherwood Police Station (2201 E. Kiehl Ave.) – food and water
  • Sherwood Senior Citizens Center (2301 Thornhill Dr.) – shelter, food, and water

Little Rock:

  • Arkansas Food Bank: We have several locations to continue collecting water and shelf-stable food at several central Arkansas IHOP locations and Marty’s Place in Maumelle. We are also accepting donations at Dickey-Stephens Park.
  • City of Little Rock (7000 Murrary Street) – Water. Non-perishable foods, baby items, hygiene products
  • Arkansas Rural Caucus (Hall High School 6700  H st) – toiletries, small toys for kids, towels

Benton:

  • City of Benton (Harps 1515 AR-5 and Kroger 20820 I-30) – Non-perishables, diapers, wipes, feminine products.
