2024 ACTM Regional Math Contest at UCA

The Mathematics Department at UCA is excited to host the central Arkansas region on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

This page is for the UCA Regional Contest location specifically. There are other contest locations around the state. You can view the list of other locations and their respective contest directors here.

Overview

  1. Students in the central region will participate in the ACTM Regional Math Contest held on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) on Saturday, February 24, 2024.
  2. The top students from the regional math contests will be invited to the ACTM State Math Contest, held on the UCA campus on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
  3. Arkansas students enrolled in any of the following courses are invited to participate: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus & Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics
  4. The contest fee is $5 per student, no additional fee for state contests.

Regional Math Contest – Central Region (UCA)

  • Mail the registration fee of $5 per student by TBD. You can also bring your registration fee with you when you arrive at the contest.
  • Arrive at the Math & Computer Science Building on Saturday, February 24, 2024 by 9:30 a.m. All events will be completed by 2:00 p.m.
  •  Campus Map
  • A sponsor or parent must accompany students to the regional and state contests.
  • Students need to bring their own calculator and pencils.
  • Medals will be awarded to students placing first, second, and third in each subject.

Contest Winners

Thank you to everyone who spent Saturday morning with us!! If you weren’t able to attend the awards ceremony, you can view the winners in the link below. The top 3 will be invited to the state contest. The state team will gather all results and determine the final invitation list for the state contest. These results will be announced in late March. Individual scores are not released.
