UCA 2035 is the University of Central Arkansas’ strategic plan for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2035. Approved by the UCA Board of Trustees on May 27, 2026, the plan establishes four strategic imperatives that will guide university priorities, planning, and decision-making over the next decade.
The implementation period began on July 1, 2026, with the four imperative working groups beginning their work in Fall 2026.
The University of Central Arkansas brings teaching, discovery, and community partnership together to educate students, expand access to opportunity, and serve the public. Through learning, scholarship, creative activity, and applied experience, we advance readiness for meaningful work, civic contribution, and lifelong growth.
The strategic imperatives define UCA’s priorities for the decade ahead, focusing the university on what matters most while allowing the work beneath them to adapt as conditions change.
