Research Interests
Patrick Michael Casey is an assistant professor of sociology. His past research interests lie in the areas of racial, religious, and political identities. In particular, his research seeks to explore the ways that these various identities may converge, intersect, and contradict.
Current Focus
Dr. Casey‘s current research investigates how AI tools can be used to mitigate political polarization by creating an opportunity for low-stakes discussion and exploration of contentious topics.
