GivePulse has several different types of impacts to help you track service hours, monetary donations, donation of goods, research and even voting. The table below explains which impact type to use when logging an impact for yourself or a volunteer. Impacts logged incorrectly will be disputed.
Categorizing Service Impacts
GivePulse administrators have the right to dispute any and all impacts that fall into the disallowed category.

Research | Gathering & presenting information on an issue directly benefiting the community | Assisting in a lab on campus conducting research | Research | Yes |
