Impacts need to be verified to count towards service awards, UCA Commitment, Greek Life, and other campus service statistics. Sometimes impacts are left pending or are disputed by a GivePulse administrator. This guide will help you check your impacts and resend verification requests, if they have not been approved in a timely manner.
Step-by-Step
- Go to uca.givepulse.com
- Click the gray “Log in via UCA” button. Log in using your UCA username and password credentials.
- Click where it says “My Activity” and choose “Impacts” from the dropdown.
- Impacts show a status on the right side of the screen: “Verified” (blue), “Pending” (yellow; waiting for verification), or “disputed” (Red; Duplicate or other issue)
- Scroll to the impact(s) you want to check, then click “Verification Log” in the list of options on the right side of the page.
- In the Verification Log, you see what changes have been made to the impact
- If “Disputed”, you can choose to “Edit” or “Contact Disputer”. The “Logs” section will show why the impact was disputed.
- If “Pending”, doublecheck the verifier’s email is correct on the bottom of the page in the “Sent Verification Emails”
- If incorrect, you can edit the impact to make the needed change
- Click “Resend Verification Request” to send another reminder to the verifier
- Another Verification email was sent!
- If you have the verifier’s phone number, it is worth calling to ask them to verify your impact.
