The MBA provides students with broad exposure to management through course work in all business disciplines. The degree is designed to meet the needs of highly committed individuals seeking career advancement and further knowledge and skills. The program requires 30 credit hours beyond the pre-requisites.

Program Tracks:
MBA – Concentration in Health Care Administration
Students that plan to receive an MBA degree with a concentration in Health Care Administration (HCA) must complete a 30-hour program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher that includes 8 core classes and 2 health care administration-related electives. The MBA with a concentration in HCA is available online.
MBA- Concentration in Information Management
The Information Management MBA offers courses in project management, information security, business intelligence and quantitative analytical methods, which prepares graduates for careers in analytics, security, emerging technologies, database development, enterprise systems and more.
MBA- Concentration in Finance
Our Finance MBA offers courses in bank management, investments, international finance, derivatives and entrepreneurial and small business finance. Graduates are prepared for careers as financial analysts and managers, CFOs, accounting managers, corporate controllers, consultants and more.
Admission Requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree from accredited institution.
- Undergraduate GPA of 2.7, or 3.0 in the last 60 hrs.
- GMAT – 500 minimum (or comparable GRE Scores which is approximately 303 when you add the verbal and quantitative scores together)
- TOEFL (Test of English as a Second Language) score of 550 (paper-based exam), or 79 (Internet-based exam) OR an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5
Want to start the MBA program without taking the GMAT or GRE? The UCA MBA Program offers several exemptions:
- Hold a terminal degree*
- Hold a master’s degree*
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in business with an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher (or 3.2 or higher in the last 60 hours)*
- Hold a bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.2(or 3.2 or higher in the last 60 hours) and has completed the four pre-requisite courses required for admission to the program*
- Obtained a CPA
*From an accredited program or institution, including UCA, as determined by the UCA Graduate School and the UCA MBA Director.
