Over the last century, the University of Central Arkansas has become a four-year, public institution offering undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees. It is one of the best and most affordable options for higher education in the South. UCA offers its students 81 undergraduate and 42 graduate certificate and degree programs, including doctoral programs in four disciplines. With an enrollment of over 12,000, UCA is large enough to offer academic diversity, yet small enough to show personal interest and support. At UCA, learning is not just confined to the classroom. Expanding research programs offer students new experiences, while international programs provide global opportunities. The student laptop initiative puts information at your fingertips, anytime and anywhere, while programs like the Honors College make learning both challenging and fun. UCA students are encouraged to take courses that help them discover their passions and develop their skills-to define who they are and how they will make an impact on the world once they graduate.
