CONWAY—The University of Central Arkansas University Chorus will be in concert April 20 at the Snow Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.
The 6:30 p.m. event is free and open to the public.
“This concert will provide audience members with a wide variety of musical styles and genres,” said Dr. Sheri Cook-Cunningham, assistant professor of music education and director of the University Chorus.
The concert will begin with a rendition of Psalm 100 by a 21st-century composer, Rene´ Clausen. Other pieces on the program include “Earth Song” and “The Lady in the Water.” “The Singing Heart” by Bob Chilcott is a piece for two choirs, and the Voices of Central Arkansas high school choir will join the University Chorus for this song and several others.
Cook-Cunningham said the group was also excited to welcome members of the Conway Men’s Chorus for a performance of the always popular “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
