UCA Theatre will present The Beaux’ Stratagem by George Farquhar, adapted by Thornton Wilder and Ken Ludwig, on November 1, 2, 7, 8, and 9 at 7:30 pm in the Bridges/Larson Theatre of the Snow Fine Arts Center on the campus of UCA, 201 Donaghey in Conway.
Bawdy humor and spirited dialogue highlight this rollicking romp as two gentlemen search to find wealthy heiresses to regain their fortunes. Madcap comedy ensues when true love gets in the way and their plans go awry.
The production is directed by Chris Fritzges with scenery design by Dr. Greg Blakey. Costume design is by UCA Theatre major Tyler Gunther and lighting design by UCA Theatre major Josh Anderson.
Cast members include Schafer Bourne of Lonoke, Tanner Adams of Springdale, Tyler Wallis of Franklin, Frank Hunter of Jonesboro, Ryan Green of Mayflower, Matt Duncan, Jordyn Daniels, and Hannah Moulder, all of Bentonville, Adam Bennett of Texarkana, Alex Huey, Xander Udochi, and Ashli Brown, all of Conway, Cheldon Gray of Hope, Madison Ledbetter of Malvern, Ashley Jones of Rogers and Keith Hudson of Little Rock. The play is stage managed by Sara Sharos of Bentonville.
