The UCA Film Festival, featuring films made by University of Central Arkansas digital filmmaking students, will be held Friday, April 27 at 5:30 p.m. in the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
“The film festival is a great way to showcase the best and brightest filmmakers,” said Joe Dull, assistant professor of digital filmmaking. “The students’level of professionalism is amazing.”
All of the films are under 20 minutes, and running time for the festival is expected to be about two hours. Categories will include narrative, documentary and music video. In order to present a film at the festival, students submit films they have created over the course of the academic year and a faculty panel picks the best work to be shown.
