UCA FACULTY ELECTED TO APTA ARKANSAS

Two University of Central Arkansas faculty members from the Department of Physical Therapy were elected to serve in the Arkansas chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Steve Forbush, associate professor, was elected as chief delegate and will serve a three-year term. Kevin Garrison, associate professor and interim chair, was elected as a delegate and will serve a two-year term.

The two professors will represent Arkansas physical therapists in the APTA House of Delegates held annually in June.

The mission of APTA Arkansas is to represent and promote the profession of physical therapy in its endeavors to meet the physical therapy needs of society; to develop and improve the art and science of physical therapy including practice, education and research; and to meet the needs and interests of its members in the state of Arkansas.
