The University of Central Arkansas will hold commencement at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, and at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, in the Jeff Farris Health and Physical Education Center.
The university will confer 525 undergraduate degrees and 206 graduate degrees during four ceremonies.
Graduate school commencement for all colleges is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday. Undergraduate commencement for the College of Business and the College of Education is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday. Commencement for the College of Fine Arts and Communication, College of Liberal Arts, and College of Natural Science and Mathematics is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday. Commencement for the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
UCA President Houston Davis will address the graduates. Rose McGarrity, the 2019-20 president of the Student Government Association, will bring greetings from the students. Jen Talbot, 2019-20 Faculty Senate vice president, will address the graduates on behalf of the faculty.
UCA Alumni Association representative Aaron Knight will address graduates during Saturday’s 10 a.m. commencement, and Gunnar Bartlett will address graduates during Saturday’s ceremonies at 1p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
