CONWAY — The Conservative Forum of Faulkner County and the University of Central Arkansas will host a debate for the Republican candidates running in the U.S. Senate Primary.
The event will be held April 7 at 6 p.m. at Reynolds Performance Hall. The debate gives residents an opportunity to hear all eight Republican Senate candidates at one venue. Being able to see and meet all candidates is a great way for the public to make a more informed decision, said John Nabholz with the Conservative Forum of Faulkner County.
“With the unprecedented attention the Arkansas Senate race is receiving, it is an honor for the Conservative Forum to be able to bring this debate to the people who will be making the ultimate decision that determines the final candidates for Arkansas,” he said. “The Conservative Forum is thrilled to work with UCA to bring all eight of the Republican Senate candidates to Conway.”
A moderator will conduct as many rounds of questions as is feasible in the 90 minutes allotted for the debate. There will be a one-minute introduction and a two-minute closing for each candidate.
