PSI CHI SELECTED AS MODEL CHAPTER FOR 13 CONSECUTIVE YEARS

The University of Central Arkansas chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, has been designated as a Psi Chi Model Chapter for 2019-20.

This is the 13th consecutive year the chapter has earned this distinction.

The UCA Psi Chi Chapter was one of 23 chapters selected from a worldwide pool of more than 1,180 chapters to achieve the Model Chapter status this year. In recognition of the award, the Psi Chi chapter will receive $100 and a custom certificate.

Founded in 1979, the UCA Psi Chi chapter has inducted 1,005 members. Minimum qualifications for membership include being a psychology major or minor, completion of at least three psychology courses and a cumulative and psychology GPA of at least 3.30 and ranks in the top 35 percent of the candidate’s class.
