The University of Central Arkansas President’s Leadership Fellows is finishing the 2016-2017 academic year and preparing for its fourth class of inductees.

Their activities for the year include visits to Nabholz Corporation, Hewlett-Packard the Faulkner County Justice Building with Judge Troy Braswell and Day at the Capitol. This group of students was also heavily involved with student activities and organizations around campus and the community.

The President’s Leadership Fellows was created in 2014 by former UCA President Tom Courtway. Students are selected based on an application and interview. They serve as student representatives of the President’s Office, while sharing their personal collegiate experience at various institutional events, on and off campus. They are also provided several opportunities to become involved with the community and business leadership sectors around Conway.

Interviews for the next class of President’s Leadership Fellows are underway. The 2017 Fellows will be formally introduced at the UCA Board of Trustees regular October meeting.
