Learning communities open house

Faculty members are invited to attend an open house on learning communities, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, in the Student Center Ballroom.

The open house will feature a panel session with program directors and another with students involved in learning communities.

A grant-writing workshop will be held for those seeking funding to do learning community work. Other events include a poster session about learning communities and round table discussions during the luncheon banquet.

Featured speakers are Senator Gilbert Baker in the morning plenary session and UCA President Lu Hardin at the luncheon banquet. The registration form is contained in a brochure about the open house that you received in campus mail.
