JAPANESE PERCUSSION ARTISTS TO PERFORM DRUM HEART AT UCA’S REYNOLDS ON MARCH 4

TAO

TAO, the internationally acclaimed percussion artists, will bring the ancient art of Japanese taiko drumming to the University of Central Arkansas’s Reynolds Performance Hall on Sunday, March 4.

The event is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Chicago Tribune said TAO: Drum Heart features “Extraordinarily talented percussion artists, and they’re seductive, alluring performers…The crowd was unmistakably wowed.”

TAO’s stop in Conway is part of a five-month North American tour that will take them to Montreal, Boston, Sante Fe and Houston, to name just a few of the 60 tour stops.

TAO’s modern, high-energy performances have transfixed audiences worldwide. Combining highly physical, large-scale drumming with contemporary costumes, precise choreography, and innovative visuals, the performers of TAO: Drum Heart will create an energetic and unforgettable production.

Tickets range from $30-$40 for the general public and $10 for children. UCA student tickets are free with valid student I.D.
