The University of Central Arkansas Foundation recently received a $500,000 gift from the Rush and Linda Harding Charitable Lead Trust.
According to the agreement, the foundation will receive $100,000 per year for the next five years as a result of the Hardings’ planned gift.
“For my wife and I, UCA has always been at the forefront for us and at the top of our list for charitable giving. Our gifts this year focused on education because it is something we believe in,” Rush Harding said.
Harding is a 1976 graduate of UCA and president of Crews & Associates, an investment firm based in Little Rock. He also has served on the UCA Board of Trustees for 19 years and is the former chairman of the board.
His wife, Linda (Turner) is a 1982 graduate and an avid equestrian who has bred horses and trained American Saddlebreds for more than 20 years.
