William H. “Hank” Henderson, president and chief executive officer, of America’s Car-Mart plans to plans to give a talk on “The Art and Science of Management” for the lecture. He will also be speaking with some classes in the morning.
Henderson has served as a director since September 2002 and as vice chairman of America’s Car-Mart board of directors since May 2004. Henderson has also served as chief executive officer since October 2007 and as president since May 2002. From 1999 until May 2002, Henderson served as chief operating officer of America’s Car-Mart’s wholly owned operating subsidiary. From 1992 until 1998, Henderson served as general manager of the wholly owned operating subsidiary. From 1987 until 1992, Henderson primarily held positions of district manager and regional manager of the wholly owned operating subsidiary. Henderson’s qualifications include his more than 20 years of experience and his in-depth knowledge of the company and its operations. In addition, Henderson provides significant industry experience and expertise to the board.
