Dr. John Bratton, Department of Economics, Finance & Insurance, and Risk Management, received two grants to assist with the Insurance Education Foundation Institute.
Bratton received a $1,000 grant from Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company and a $500 grant from Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The purpose of the Insurance Education Foundation Institute was to improve the understanding of insurance and its role in society by providing a graduate level insurance course for high school teachers. These grants from Farm Bureau and Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield allowed UCA to significantly improve the quality of this educational experience for participating high school teachers.
