A new restaurant officially opened on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas with a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, Sept. 13.

Twisted Taco, located on the first floor of Donaghey Hall, is a Tex-Mex restaurant serving made-to-order California style burritos, nachos, homemade salsas and the restaurant’s famous “Twisted Tacos.”

Approximately 100 campus and community members were on hand for the ceremony, as the university expanded its dining offerings.

Einstein Bros. Bagels also opened in Donaghey Hall, which is the second location on the UCA campus. The first floor of Donaghey Hall also includes Marble Slab Creamery/Great American Cookies and UCA’s Makerspace. All locations on the first floor of Donaghey Hall are open to students and the general public. The upper floors are a residential space for students.
