This weekend’s forecast calls for higher temperatures and improved weather conditions that should melt much of the snow and ice around the state. In anticipation of this, we are preparing to resume all campus business operations and classes on Monday, Feb. 22. Please continue to check your campus email often, as instructors will reach out to you there with any important class-related details.
I want to thank each of you for your resilience and flexibility as we have dealt with extreme weather this past week and a half. I especially want to thank our UCA employees who have worked around the clock, despite the challenging weather conditions, to provide essential services to our students on campus. Our housing, dining services, public safety, student services, physical plant, and core information technology operations staff will continue to work this weekend to prepare campus for reopening. When you are out and about on campus in the coming days, take a moment to thank those staff members for their hard work and support of UCA.
