UCA Trustees Approve One-Time Bonus for Faculty, Staff

The University of Central Arkansas Board of Trustees voted unanimously Friday to give faculty and staff a one-time bonus in their September 30 paychecks. Full-time current faculty who were benefits-eligible on May 15 and full-time current staff who were benefits-eligible on June 30 will receive $1,000. UCA Freshmen Enrollment Jumps Ten Percent

The University of Central Arkansas had a 10 percent increase in freshman enrollment, bringing the freshman class to 2,157 students for the fall of 2012, according to preliminary enrollment data.  Total first-time undergraduate is up 197 students over the 1,960 mark in 2011.  This increase marks the third straight year the first-time undergraduate enrollment has increased at UCA. UCA to Host Ribbon Cutting for New Amphitheater

University of Central Arkansas officials will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to signal the completion of the new student amphitheater. The ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7.
