Bihm receives grant to preserve psychology materials

Dr. Elson Bihm, Department of Psychology and Counseling, recently received a $47,238 grant from the National Science Foundation to establish an educational Web site that will preserve the history of behavioral psychology and provide an interactive learning tool for students.

Bihm is working in conjunction with UCA faculty members Art Gillaspy, Bill Lammers and Stephanie Huffman.

Bihm?s Web site will preserve historical documents related to the IQ Zoo and Animal Behavior Enterprises, a commercial venture based on the conditioning of animal behavior through positive reinforcement.
