COVID-19 and the NCAD Refund Policy

We realize the uncertainty created by the spread of COVID-19 in the United States. Many institutions of higher education have moved to online instruction, closed campuses, and restricted travel. Many higher education conferences have been cancelled or have gone virtual. At this time, the 2020 National Conference of Academic Deans is still scheduled to convene on July 15 – 17 on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas. We want to make sure you can register for the conference and pre-conference with confidence. If your institution has temporarily restricted travel, and you are unable to pay for your registration online, you can still register by selecting “Pay by Check.” Doing so will register you, and we will send you an invoice that can be paid at any time prior to July 15. If you are unable to attend, you can contact us to cancel your registration and simply not pay the invoice. If you do pay online, rest assured that your registration fees will be fully refunded without penalty should we decide to cancel the conference or pre-conference. Furthermore, if you decide not to attend the conference or pre-conference for any reason, you may request and will receive a full refund of your registration fees. The deadline for refund requests is July 20, 2020.

The health and safety of our attendees is of the utmost importance, as well as our commitment to mitigating the spread of the virus. The NCAD Board of Directors will continue to monitor the threat posed by COVID-19 and follow the decisions and guidance of the University of Central Arkansas, the Arkansas Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control. Should we decide to cancel the conference, we will post an announcement on the NCAD home page and send all registrants our decision via email.
