General Counsel

The Office of the General Counsel provides day-to-day legal services for the University of Central Arkansas. The primary duties include advising and providing legal services to the Board of Trustees, President, Executive Staff, and the entire campus community including faculty, staff, and students with regard to research, analysis, guidance, and interpretation of issues of importance to the University. Specifically, the Office of General Counsel is responsible for preparing legal documents, reviewing contracts, reviewing public-records requests, providing guidance on employment matters, representing the University in legal actions, and overseeing real estate transactions.
